After working in Pharmaceutical and Consumer Products R&D for over 30 years I found myself in looking at redundancy for the second time in as many years. That is when I decided I need to do something different. I took inventory of my skills and what I really liked to do.
- As a project manager I often would have to sort through data to develop the best plan
- As a leader in big pharma and consumer products I often had to travel for work and very much caught the travel bug
- As a parent I often had to plan my vacations to make the best out of the time and money we had for our trips, and later traveling with both seniors and children with medical needs, I had to plan them well so that everything fit into place before we left
That is when I decided I wanted to be in the travel business. I can use my skills as a project manager and as a parent to help other families plan great trips and get the most out of their time and money.
As a scientist I did my research and came across Cruise Planners. It was a perfect fit. Cruise Planners has a great program and some of the best technology in the travel business. This technology gives me access to far more information than I did on the web and make it easy to build and compare vacation plans.

I have spent the first few months developing my skills and knowledge. I have completed the Disney Training, no real surprise to anyone who knows me knows that I am a Disney Fan. I have also joined CLIA (Cruise Line Industry Association) and have begun my accreditation program. I have completed many other training programs, you can check out my current list.
